Sue Carter Collins: JD & PhD, Florida State University and an active member of the Florida Bar since 1984; Associate Professor Emeritus of Criminal Justice & Criminology, Georgia State University; currently the Company Owner of Synergistic Healing Center of Atlanta, LLC. Collins’ research and consulting interests include legal issues in law enforcement, sexual harassment, police sexual misconduct, race and gender issues, criminal justice policy, criminal justice education, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). An active member of the Florida Bar since 1984, Collins is an experienced attorney who has held numerous professional positions as a practicing attorney and criminal justice practitioner. She also has provided training to numerous law enforcement agencies and served as a consultant for various agencies. Her current research focuses on sexual harassment in policing, the constitutionalization of criminal procedure, women in policing, and DEI.
